Anatomy is the starting pointSelect a structure to find its course relationships. Coloured regions provide anatomical context; they are not precise functional maps.
How the list is grouped
Cerebral entries are grouped by lobe, basal ganglia, amygdala or white matter. Basal ganglia and amygdala are separate learning entries, following Topic 4 ML4; both contain deep nuclei within the cerebrum. Diencephalon, brainstem and cerebellum are separate divisions; ventricles are fluid spaces. These groups organise the available anatomy, not a complete atlas. Hippocampus is medial temporal cortex; amygdala is a deep nuclear complex in the temporal lobe. Mammillary bodies belong to the hypothalamus.
